Option 1: Send a File via the Dropbox Website

1. Go to dropbox.com and log in.
2. Find the file you want to share in your Files section (if you have not already, copy the file into the Dropbox folder).
3. Hover over the file and click Share (the person icon or the “Share” button).
4. Choose how you want to share:
   • Share link → Anyone with the link can view or download the file.
     • Click Copy link, then paste it into an email, chat, or message.
   • Send directly → Enter an email address or name of the recipient.
     • Choose whether they can view or edit.
     • Click Share file to send it via Dropbox.

Option 2: Send a File via the Dropbox Desktop App

1. Open your Dropbox folder on your computer.
2. Right-click the file or folder you want to share.
3. Select Share… (you’ll see Dropbox’s share dialog).
4. Choose either:

• • Email address → Send an invite with access permissions.
  • Copy link → Share it manually through any platform.

Option 3: Send from the Dropbox Mobile App

1. Open the Dropbox app.
2. Tap the ⋮ (three dots) next to your file.
3. Tap Share.
4. Choose to send via email, copy link, or share through another app (e.g. WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.).

From OneDrive on the Web

1. Go to onedrive.live.com and sign in.
2. Find the file or folder you want to share.
3. Right-click it (or select the Share icon at the top).
4. In the share window, choose your sharing settings:
   • Anyone with the link – lets anyone open it (no sign-in required).
   • People in [your organisation] – only coworkers can access.
   • Specific people – restrict access to chosen emails.
5. Toggle Allow editing on or off.
6. Click Copy link (to share via message/email) or Email (to send directly).

From File Explorer (Windows 10/11)

1. Find your OneDrive folder on your computer.
2. Right-click the file or folder → Share.
3. Pick sharing options as above.
4. Copy or send the link.

From the OneDrive Mobile App

1. Open the app and locate your file.
2. Tap the three dots (…) → Share.
3. Choose whether people can edit or view only.
4. Copy the link or send it via email, message, or another app.

Tips

• To stop sharing: Right-click the file → Manage access → remove the link or change permissions.
• Shared links can have expiration dates and passwords (for extra security).
• If you’re sharing large files or folders with clients, “Anyone with the link” is easiest, but less secure.

On a Computer

1. Open Google Drive
   • Go to https://drive.google.com
     and sign in.
2. Locate your file
   • Right-click the file or folder you want to share.
3. Click “Share”
   • A sharing window will appear.
4. Choose how to share:

• • Add people or groups
    • Enter email addresses, then select their access level:
      • Viewer — can only see.
      • Commenter — can see and comment.
      • Editor — can see, comment, and edit.
    • Click Send to notify them by email.
  • Share via link
    • Click Copy link.
    • Change “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” if you want public access.
    • Adjust permissions (Viewer / Commenter / Editor).
    • Share that link via email, chat, etc.

On Mobile (Google Drive App)

1. Open the Google Drive app.
2. Tap the three dots (⋯) next to the file.
3. Tap Share.
4. Either:

• • Add people or groups and set their permissions, or
  • Tap Link settings → toggle “Anyone with the link” and copy it.

Tip

• Use Viewer access if you only want others to see the file.
• Use Editor access only for trusted collaborators.
• You can revoke access anytime from the same “Share” menu.
